The much anticipated nominations for the Municipal and District Chief Executive positions in the Volta Region are out finally. The list was revealed at a press briefing by the Minister for Local Government Decentralization and Rural Development, Hon. Dan Botwe (MP).
According to the details sighted by rymcitigh.com, the list contains some hardworking personalities of the NPP in the region. While some of the incumbents have been axed from office, few of them managed to get nominated for a second term berth.
In all, Volta Region has 18 MMDAS. This decentralization drive is to ensure that governance is brought down to the level of the citizenry.
