The Member of Parliament for the Akatsi North Constituency who doubles as the ranking member of the Education Committee in Ghana’s Parliament was back at the classroom once again.
According to details seen on Facebook, the former Accra Academy teacher was in Dzadzepe E.P. Basic School in his beloved constituency, Akatsi North, where he taught a combined class of JHS 1 to JHS 3 pupils. The gesture also presented him the opportunity to interact with the school children. He made it known that the visit would become a routine as he seeks not only to impact knowledge but also to inspire the young ones in his constituency to aspire higher.
The about 2-hour engagement was on the three arms of government with focus on the Legislature; Stages of law making and the passage of bills by Parliament, as requested by the school authorities
At the end of the interaction, the staff and pupils expressed appreciation to him for honouring their invitation and also for allowing the young ones to learn from his worth of experience.
