Miss Godsway Fiadzo Wins the Maiden Edition of FACE OF AGOSEC in Style-DETAILS!

Neil Armstrong’s famous quote “It is one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind”, has always come back to prove its relevance in the contemporary world full of opportunities.

Indeed, it was a night of glitz and glamour as ten beautiful and intelligent girls with the taste of pageantry life gave their all as they battle it out for a coveted crown cum honour. The night which saw blistering performances would forever leave unforgettable memories in the mind of patrons who thronged the AGOSEC Assembly Hall to witness things for themselves.

Turn by turn, the beautiful girls entertained the expectant crowd in dance choreography, talent show, catwalk and presentation of personal projects that they intend to pursue after the show. After a grueling first round contest, the contestants were reduced to five in order to make way for the final round. As the girls were separated from the women at the end of the final lap, it became abundantly clear to the judges who the winners of the various categories and by extension the ultimate crown, would be.

Miss Patience Yajo, contestant number seven (7) won the Talent Segment. Miss Godsway Fiadzo, contestant number eight (8) for the exquisite articulation of her project, swept the Miss Eloquence Award on the night. Miss Daniella Clottey, contestant number six (6), had the accolade for the Best Catwalk.

At the end of the contest, seventeen-year-old Miss Godsway Fiadzo, a General Arts student, took home the coveted crown and officially becomes the 2023 FACE OF AGOSEC. Miss Veronica Keh, contestant number ten (10) and Miss Daniella Clottey, contestant number six (6) were adjudged the first runner- up and second runner-ups respectively. They were presented with nice packages for their efforts.

Speaking to rymcitigh.com, the winner of the contest, Miss Godsway Fiadzo, expressed gratitude to God for how far He has brought her. She revealed that half way through the preparations, she almost gave up but the good Lord gave her strength to continue. She also thanked her fans for encouraging and voting for her to clinch the ultimate. She promised to repay the huge confidence reposed in her.

Present at the programme were some queen mothers from Agotime-Kpetoe, Miss Blandina Sika Gumenu (Face of Volta 2022), Mr. Venunye Kwaku Teku (CEO of Face of Volta Pageant) and a host of other important dignitaries.

There were also eye-catching performances from some artists on the night to entertain the excited audience.

The programme which is a brainchild of AGOSEC Entertainment Committee seeks to empower the girl-child.
