NDC MP-elect for the Keta Constituency, Honourable Kwame Dzidzorli Gakpey has been attacked in his residence by some unknown persons.
In the process, his personal registered gun was also taken away from him.
The unfortunate incident which happened at Afiadenyigba around 1am on Friday 11th December, 2020, is said to have left the MP in a serious health condition. According to sources, some masked gun men stormed the house of the MP-elect which forced his security guard to run away.
A young man whose name is undisclosed was also severely beaten in the MP’s residence.
He was rushed to the Keta Government Hospital. Information available to rymcitigh.com indicates that he is under intensive care after being hit in the head so many times.
It is unclear what may have caused this attack few days after his victory in the 7th December polls.
