Leadership has evolved on Ghana’s university campuses and a lot of students who have the desire to cause a change are leaving no stones unturned. Our consummate professional today has been longed prepared for the hurly burly of politics.

Sancho Ackoussah hails from Aflao in the Ketu South Municipality of the Volta Region, Ghana. The former student of Keta SHS gained admission into University of Cape Coast to read a four-year Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and since then, he has never reneged. His stature has now been built and made for this special moment.
Due to his zeal to always improve upon his knowledge in diverse fields of life, he again applied to the University of Ghana in 2014 to read another four-year Degree in Accounting (BSc Administration). Successfully, he graduated and again applied for his Masters in Management Information Systems (MPhil) in 2020; this is what he is currently pursuing.
Sancho has a good background in Diploma in Education at the University of Education, Winneba. His almost ten years experience in GES as a teacher cannot be downplayed. He disclosed to rymcitigh.com about what really motivated him to go into student politics. According to him, his broad experience in University Education which spans close to nine years has led him to become abreast with the needs of students. He is of the clearest conviction that he has enough experience, leadership skills, ability and the technical know-how to lead the Association of Graduate Students.

He also revealed that his goal in life is to be able to make an impact and help society the best possible way that he could. The self-motivated, firm, strict and high disciplined personality intends to be able to make a positive change through consensus building, making sure people get what they deserve through fairness and equity.
His vision as an Aspiring Presidential Candidate for GRASAG is to rebrand the association into a vibrant graduate student organization that is more geared towards the basic needs of graduate students. It is also his fervent prayer to see GRASAG become an organization that can attract the attention of corporate bodies and government since this association is the mother of many great leaders this country has ever seen and continue to see.
