The National Disaster Management Organisation (NaDMO) has donated some relief items to communities within the Lawoshime Electoral Area( Lawoshime, Agorvinu, Hagodzi, Mamime) and other affected communities.
According to a statement signed by the NaDMO Director of KeMA, Mr. Wonder Setsoafia Deynu, the support was provided to help ease the pain and challenges faced by residents who were affected by the floods that occurred between May and June, 2025.

The statement paid glowing tributes to some individuals who contributed a great deal in sending the items to the people of the area.
Notable amongst them are: the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Hon. Wisdom Seade, the Municipal Coordinating Director (MCD), Mr. Innocent Gavu and all staff of the Keta Municipal Assembly NaDMO Office.
“We are deeply grateful to the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Hon. Wisdom Seade, and the Municipal Coordinating Director (MCD), Mr. Innocent Gavu, for their presence and support during the exercise. We especially appreciate them for assisting with transportation logistics by providing fuel.”
The Member of Parliament for the Constituency, Hon. Kwame Dzudzorli Gakpey and the Volta Regional NaDMO Director, received special recognition for their efforts in lobbying for the relief items on behalf of the affected communities.

The chiefs, elders, Assembly member, Hon. Israel Mensah, the youth and the entire community received mentions as well.
