Some Concerned Citizens of Agotime have donated items to the staff and students of the only senior high school within the Kpetoe township earlier today. They were accompanied by some executives of the Old Students’ Association.
According to details available to rymcitigh.com, the donation is part of a move to improve upon the study of Science and Mathematics in the school.
Items such as projector with screen, television set, printer, laptop computers, customized polo shirts, pen drives and some assorted goods were presented. An amount of 6,000 Ghana Cedis has also been made available to help in the training of students.
The leader of the delegation, Dr. George Grandy Hallo, charged the students to learn hard in order to justify the confidence reposed in them. It was his believe that the students would see the gesture as an opportunity to excel in their academic endeavours.
The Headmaster of the school, Mr. Eric Etornam Sunfra, who received the items on behalf of the school, expressed his gratitude to the delegation for the singular act of thoughtfulness towards a just course. He promised that the items would be put to good use. His two able deputies and some members of staff were there as usual to provide their relentless supports.
The simple but beautiful ceremony saw the outdooring of the maiden Science and Mathematics Academy as well.
