The Hogbetsotso Festival is an annual celebration by the chiefs and people of the Anlo State to commemorate their historic migration from Notsie and their escape from the tyrannical rule of King Agorkoli. Deeply rooted in cultural heritage, the festival features vibrant traditional dance, drumming and rich re-enactments of the history of the Anlo people.
It is normally celebrated in the first week of November.
