
Members of the NPP in the Buem Constituency have organized a clean up exercise in New Ayoma a town located in the Jasikan Municipality of the Oti Region to mark AU Day.

Acoording to the details available to rymcitigh.com, the move is to encourage community members to as a matter urgency, do regular clean-up in their environments since sanitation has to be top on the agenda of every citizen. The Constituency Chairman, Mr. Anold K. Agble, disclosed that the Buem Constituency will regularly embark on these activities to create the awareness.

Mr. Wisdom Yaw Ofori, the Buem Constituency Organizer who spoke to our news team disclosed that the exercise is not going to be a nine day wonder but just the beginning of similar clean up exercises within the Constituency which is aimed at mobilizing the grass root to poise for the 2024 political season. He also reckoned that the intervention would help increase the support base and make the party very vibrant in the Constituency.

He used the occasion to address the over five thousand (5000) party faithfuls to ensure that the environment is always tidied up, especially now that the rainy season is here.

The Jasikan Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Elizabeth K.A Adjornor, who joined the teaming party supporters for the clean up exercise thanked the supporters for remaining loyal to the party and the need to remain steadfast for elections 2024.

She reminded the people of government’s flagship programme of which the Buem Constituency and for that matter the New Ayoma people are not left out.
Some projects embarked on by the government in the area include a steal bridge over River Dayi at New Ayoma, construction of a wall around the New Ayoma Market, construction of a twenty-seater WC toilet in the New Ayoma Market amongst others.
