Born Promise Lumor, the actor, comedian and MC hails from two vibrant towns, Agbozume and Akatsi, all located in the Volta Region of Ghana. The entertainer has always loved to be in an environment soaked with humour because, his desire is to put smiles on people’s face. This, he revealed is innate.

His days at Akatsi Senior High School (AKAST) were really fun. He was in the thick of things during the school’s entertainment programmes. Many who ever encountered him were wooed by the enormous creativity at his disposal. With time, the applause from friends, family and well-wishers grew. Buzzing with the hunger to succeed, he took the whole thing to another level, hence deciding to join mainstream with the stage name, KOSE. Currently, he is one of the most sought-after acts in the Volta Region.
Since his breakthrough unto the domestic movie scene, he has already featured in eight Ewe movies. Two of the English movies he featured in titled ‘Money Over Love’ and ‘Bosslady’ are yet to be released. He has also won five awards from Volta Teens Awards and Good Music Awards, Comedians Category.
KOSE’s friendship with the microphone has earned him many accolades. With his blend of comedy and stage craft, his audience at ceremonies are never left disappointed. His short funny videos on both Facebook and WhatsApp are always the talk of town. Using the Ewe dialect perfectly to create humour always gives his fans something to cheer about.
The versatile entertainer revealed to Rymcitigh.com that his journey has not been without hiccups but the willingness to stay positive and true to his dreams has brought him thus far. His advice to those with talent is to keep pushing until heaven recognizes their efforts. To him, he has enough to prove and he knows through consistency, success will come bountifully. It is his desire also to build on the works done by the forebears whose ultimate wish was to see the movie industry from the region reach places.
