H.E. Andrew Gregory, the Australian High Commissioner to Ghana, has in a Facebook post, applauded the people of Adaklu for making the town the neatest in Ghana.
His observation stems from the fact that he did not find any plastic waste in the town during his usual trips. The Commissioner also went on to describe the town as “absolutely spotless”. He reckoned that the proud town deserves an award.
He is one foreign diplomat who is so much concerned about marketing Ghana to the world.
In a related development, Volta Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) has commended the people of Adaklu on their recognition by the Australian High Commissioner who conferred – “ Tidy Town Prize” winner on them for how clean and neat their area is.
The Chamber also shares in the joy and the success story of Adaklu and has promised to organize the Award which would be presented by H. E. the Australian High Commissioner to Ghana.
