MP for Anlo hands over apprentices to their masters; terms of agreement signed.-DETAILS!

Anloga was thrown into a happy state on Sunday, 10th October, 2021 as the beneficiaries of the Youth for Skills and Entrepreneurship Training, an initiative by the MP of the area, Hon. Kwami Sefe, officially signed their contract terms. 

The agreement signing which was held at the auditorium of the Global Evangelical Church, Gloryland-Anloga, was attended by all the beneficiaries under the various modules. Sources say that Anloga is categorized under zone one. This means that similar exercise would be replicated in other zones within the Anlo Constituency.  

Speaking at the event, the MP, whose brainchild is the initiative, charged the participants to hold to heart the terms of the contract and exhibit what is expected of them as learners with purpose. He believes that this opportunity if carefully utilized would go a long way to better their fortunes. 

He also used the opportunity to advised the masters whose care the beneficiaries have been entrusted into, to take special care of their new trainees. 

A beneficiary of the programme who was full of praise of the MP lauded this special initiative that he has put in place. According to her, Ghana would be a better place if all the powers that be always think about their roots. This, she said, would help reduce the high unemployment and the dependency rates in the country significantly. 

Over one thousand (1000) youth of  Anlo have been enrolled under the various modules such as Hairdressing, Tailoring, Plumbing, Carpentery, Tiling, among others. This is to give them sustainable jobs and also offer respite to a lot of families.
