Prince Acheampong, a young entrepreneur who produces quality leather boots and other apparel has revealed the unfavorable conditions young entrepreneurs go through in the hands of leadership in spite of calls for graduates to venture into entrepreneurship.
According to excerpts of what transpired between him and the Quartermaster General of the Ghana Police Service a week ago, the entrepreneur revealed that he was turned away and told the police does not buy boots from Ghana. He also confessed that the quality and durability of his boots was never a problem during the meeting.
He went on to vent his spleen at the system. According to him, the calls made by finance minister for the Ghanaian youth to venture into entrepreneurship would materialize if the measures, support and considerations are not in favour of the youth.
