The Deborah Generation, an NGO based in Ghana, has donated some sanitary products to the girls in Agotime Senior High School.
The Assistant Headmaster- Administration, Mr. Raymond Salakpi, who welcomed the guests, expressed gratitude to them for their thoughtfulness and care over the years. He tasked the students to take advantage of the opportunities as they come.
The entourage led by its founder and bankroller, Dr. Dela Mawutor, took the girls through what they have to do in order to display responsible behaviours as far as their adolescent reproductive health is concerned. She tasked the student girls to be assertive and do away with habits that have the tendency of destroying their future.
She equally seized the opportunity to admonished the students to take their studies seriously as it is the only to grow up to become adults responsible enough to contribute their quota to the development of the country.
The event also coincided with the commemoration of the World Menstrual Hygiene Day and every girl in the school got a sanitary pad.
Some books were also donated to aid the students in reading.
