Each house rallied their members to showcase their athletic prowess and unite under their house colours, creating an atmosphere filled with excitement and friendly rivalry.

The festival kicked off with the cross-country events, where the girls set the tone with their determination and speed. Akpalu triumphed, claiming first place, while Sri finished third. The boys’ cross-country race saw Akpalu again take the lead with another first-place finish. Nkrumah surprised many by securing second place, demonstrating that they were not to be underestimated.

As the day progressed into athletics, the competition intensified. The boys’ athletics saw Nkrumah shine brightly as they clinched first place while Akpalu followed closely in second. The girls’ athletics mirrored this spirit of competition; Akpalu once again emerged victorious.

The games segment was equally thrilling. In the girls’ games, Akpalu maintained their winning streak while Sri fought hard to secure fourth place. The boys’ games saw Sri rise to glory with a first-place finish, marking an exciting turn in their overall performance.

As the dust settled on this exhilarating day filled with sweat and cheers, the final results were announced. Akpalu stood proudly at the top of the leaderboard with a total of impressive performances across all events. Kotoka secured second place with commendable efforts throughout the day. Sri finished in third place, showcasing their resilience despite some ups and downs in individual events. Nkrumah rounded out the standings in fourth place but left with heads held high after several strong showings.
