Angela Tsrakasu, known on Facebook as Blessed Angel, has taken delivery of a Free Primary Health Care tricycle and other essential equipment after making a passionate appeal to the President of the Republic.
The hardworking midwife whose post went viral recently after appealing to the President to donate one of the Free Primary Health Care tricycles to facilitate healthcare delivery at Avevi CHPS Zone, located within the Akatsi North District, has gotten more than she requested for.
She also, on behalf of the facility, received essential equipment such as bed, lying-in bed, glucometer, patient monitor and other items that will transform health care delivery for the community.
On Facebook, she expressed gratitude to the President of the Republic, H.E. John Dramani Mahama for listening to her passionate appeal and delivering.
She also expressed appreciation to the Minister of Health, Mintah Kwabena Akandoh (Hon), With All Due Respect-Loud Silence Media and other well meaning individuals who worked hard behind the scenes to make the donation possible.
There is no doubt the items received will go a long way in ensuring that health care delivery in Avevi receives a major boost.
