On Wednesday October 21, 2020, the Alumni Association of Valley View University donated an amount of GHC10,000 to S.D.A Valley View Hospital, Oyibi, to support the hospital acquire Personal Protective Equipments (PPEs) to protect the employees of the hospital from contracting coronavirus disease.
The Vice President of the Alumni Association, Dr. Williams Kwasi Peprah, who presented the cheque to the hospital, noted that this donation from the alumni was to show the commitment and care the association members have towards the University and the hospital.
In receiving the donation on behalf of the hospital, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Daniel Kwame Bediako, who is also the Board Chairman of the hospital, thanked the Alumni Association for the donation and admitted that it has come at the right time. He indicated that the hospital is focusing on excellence and quality customer service to satisfy its patients.
Again, Dr. Martha Nabila, Medical Director, and Mrs. Comfort Agyekum Boateng, the Head of Facility, thanked the Valley View University Alumni Association for the timely donation of GHC10, 000 for the acquisition of PPEs for the hospital.
