The Seventh Day Adventists Church in Adidome and Sogakope has donated medical equipments and medicines to the Sogakope District Hospital worth over one thousand Ghana cedis.
The move was part of the church’s corporate social responsibility to government institutions to help discharge humanitarian services to the less privileged in the society. These items were given specifically to improve upon the health care delivery in the South Tongu District.
The items include a broad range of medicines and some other equipments sourced from Givers Health Inc, a Non- Governmental Organization in the US. They were received by Mr Farouk Iddrisu, the hospital administrator, and
Mr Henry Dumogah, the hospital pharmacist.
Receiving the donations, Mr. Henry Dumogah on behalf of the hospital’s management, expressed his profound gratitude for the kind gesture from the SDA Church and Givers Health Inc. He hoped that the church will continue to help them in the delivery of their mandate.
The church was represented by Pr Mordecai Mawutor Kporku, Adidome District Pastor and Pr Allan Avi, the District Pastor, Sogakope.
