A final year student of Three Town Senior High School in the Ketu South District of the Volta Region of Ghana has inflicted deep wounds on a teacher.
According to details sighted by rymcitigh.com, the student whose name is withheld was bullying a first year student at the back of the school’s ICT lab and the victim who is the ICT teacher sought to find out the cause of the abuse. The statement further revealed that the suspect rather got offended and pushed the teacher in readiness for a fight.
Things got heated up and the suspect went in for a block to smash the teacher’s head. The teacher in an attempt to prevent the block from hitting him moved away from the suspect but that did not satisfy him. The suspect pulled out a knife in a second attempt and stabbed the victim on his arm.
The suspect was arrested by the police immediately and later processed for court.
Multiple reports now suggest that the suspect has since been granted bail with GHC 30,000.00 and two sureties. This according to the judge is to enable him take part in the forthcoming WASSCE practicals which start on Monday.
