Anlo Rural Bank Limited, one of the leading rural banks in the Volta Region has donated some HP air conditioners to the Keta Municipal Hospital.
According to details, the move was based on a request from the hospital on needing air conditioners to replace the old ones that have outlived their lifespan in some consulting rooms. Sources from the bank revealed that the request was given the necessary swift attention and subsequently, the approval was done by the board for the items to be procured.
The acting C. E. O. of the bank, Mr. Sylvester Atsu Bedzra and the Head of Business Development and Marketing, Mr. Winfred Venunye Amegago, were at the hospital to hand over the items. The bank believes strongly that giving back to the society forms part of its cooperate social responsibility.
Receiving the items, the Medical Superintendent of the Keta Municipal Hospital, Dr. Anthoinette A. Ekuban, expressed gratitude to the bank for responding to their call. It was her hope that more of such goodies would come in the near future.
Earlier, the bank also rewarded some loyal microfinance groups and members with items such as table top fridges, microwaves, blenders, certificates and a host of other incentives.
