Unconfirmed reports have it that five people died with several others severely injured in an accident involving a Ford Transit bus and a long transit bus along the Accra-Aflao highway.
The accident is said to have happened at Tefle, near Sogakope in the early hours of Tuesday, December 22, 2020.
Reports indicate that the long bus crashed into the Ford Transit bus splitting it into two. The Ford Transit bus, according to reports was transportating passengers from Keta to Accra before the unfortunate accident.
“I met this accident on my way to Sogakope this morning at Tefle about 200 meters from Rawlings residence …all occupants of the Ford transit bus died except the driver. One person in the long white bus also died. The long bus actually split the Ford bus into half. Human bones are visible at the scene and blood splashed all over” says an eye witness.
Some of the injured were taken to the Sogakope District Hospital for treatment.
