Ghanaian Recording Artiste and VRMG Boss, Denning Edem Hotor, who performs under the name Edem, has donated dozens of assorted drinks, digestive biscuits, spaghetti and mineral water to the victims of last month’s devastating tidal waves.
The donations were received on behalf of the victims by the Keta MCE, Honourable Emmanuel Gemegah and the Assemblyman for the Amutinu/Salakope Electoral Area, Honourable Sylvester Kumawu.
The “Woss” crooner who was in the company of his team pledged his unflinching support to the victims and prayed that government takes a bold step in finding a lasting solution to the tidal wave destructions since further delay could be regrettable.
He also took the opportunity to visit Amutinu/Salakope Electoral Area to ascertain at first hand the extent of the damage.
Last month, many homes along the coast were destroyed following the resurgence of tidal waves in some parts of the Volta Region. Some of the communities affected are Fuveme, Dzita, Srogboe, Anyanui and Whuti.
Houses and properties were destroyed and scores of residents displaced in Anloga, Keta and Ketu South.
