Competition they say produces harmony amongst competitors and the organisations or institutions they represent. It is in the same vein that the Volta Regional Technical Institute Sports Association (VOLTISA), Southern Zone, organized its maiden edition of games amongst some pro technical and vocational institutions in the Volta Region.
According to the reports available to rymcitigh.com, the just ended competition hosted by Comboni Technical Institute was under the auspices of Mr. Harry Peter Adzimah. The programme which commenced on Friday, 28th October, 2022 and ended on the 31st October, 2022, at Comboni Technical Institute, Sogakope, brought together technical and vocational school across the length and breadth of the Volta Region.
The participating institutions were Comboni Technical Institute (COMBOTECH), Atorkor Technical Institute (ATORTECH), Dzodze Technical Institute (DZOTECH), Caring Sisters Vocational Institute, Tegbi, Kedzi Vocational and Technical Institute (KEVOTECH), Social Welfare Vocational School (SWEVCO) Ho, Community Development Vocational and Technical Institute (CDVTI) Ho.
Competitors took part in athletics, football, handball, table tennis and badminton. At the end of the four-day festival, Atorkor Technical Institute (ATORTECH) led the medal log. They were keenly followed by Comboni Technical Institute (COMBOTECH), the host school.
There is that indication that the second edition of the programme promises to be fun and highly competitive.
